This is one of many wonderful beaches on Kauai. This one was off the beaten path. You may get some uncomfortable stares from locals, but to be honest with you, I don't blame them! The last thing they want is a bunch of tourists trying to find that perfect beach (which may be 100' from their home). Remember: yes, it's a free country, but the area is their home, so always be respectful!
Here, there were some clouds gathering, as they did every day we were there. The rain storms are common on Kauai, but for some reason, the warm rain is never really that bothersome. In fact, it provides for much needed relief.
