Kauai South Shore. I was surprised at how relatively easy it was to locate some fine, secluded beaches. My new wife and I found several secluded (read: containing fewer than 10 people, or containaing no people), beautiful beaches, surrounded by sheer greenery, with ease. My guess is that the majority of tourists on Kauai did not care to venture too far from the standard hot spots. We were not exactly wild and crazy in our searches, but we did find these beaches with ease. You can lounge on these beaches, take a nap, take a quick dip in some of them (certain areas are not meant for swimming though).
